Froudes is run by a Husband and Wife team, Claire and Chris Jackson. Chris as Head Chef Strives to provide good, wholesome, and as far as possible local food at affordable prices.

Claire's aim is to welcome you along with her experienced team of staff and provide you the dining experience you would expect from a local family run restaurant and bar.

The Name Froudes comes from the original owner of the house and prominent Engineer. 

Any size bookings are available however booking is always recommended, especially if your party is larger than 6. For anybody who has specific dietary requirements Froudes prides itself on being able to accommodate. Whether you are after a sandwich or light bite in our warm and cozy bar or a full sit down meal in our restaurant you wont be disappointed!!
